LOOK CLOSELY! You are looking at a very rare, one of a kind piece of art... made by BEATRICE WOOD! This is a beautiful "Hand crafted pedestal bowl". This bowl is stunning and was a piece that I have been told was one of her last pieces of art she ever created. It measures 7-1/4" tall and 8-1/4" across the top. From the bottom of it, it looks like it was created in 1995. We lost Ms. Wood in 1998 at the age of 105 years young! That would have made her approx. 102 years old when she created this piece. It has some information on the bottom of it that includes a $6000.00 price tag. The color is greenish with yellow and other colors in it. It has a gloss to it. The family that purchased the bowl was friends of Ms. Woods. They lived in California in a nearby city. They have also since left this world. There son inherited this in the estate. It is now available to you. The piece is in great condition for the age, the rarity, and knowing the age Ms. Wood was when she created it. It has several cracks in it as shown in the pictures. I believe this was done in the casting and baking of it. But, no matter the reason, or when it happened, they are there. I ask you too look over very closely at the pictures. All of them. I will have this inspected by a local shop before shipment to verify what I’m writing is true and correct. There are two books coming with this. One looks to be autographed why the other one has a card in it that is attatched to one of the first pages. If you want pictures, please email me and let me know. I’m happy to send them to you. This will be shipped in a larger box with lots of protection. I will have FedEx wrap it. I will take pictures and video of it in the wrapping phase. I only ship to the lower 48 states.
