Description: This "Sessions" Music Instrument Case Handle was recovered from the Reba McEntire Band crash of HS-125 Executive Jet #N8613C that crashed near San Diego, California in the early hours of March 16, 1991. Reba herself was slated to be aboard but remained in San Diego after the concert due to business obligations and was slated to take a later flight during that day. The Executive Jet with all her band members aboard took well after midnight at the airport at Brown Field near the Mexican border and began the climb out over Mt. Otay but the pilot had failed to file a flight plan with the FAA and intended to due so after Take-off. Most unfortunately communications were delayed and Pilots who only had clearance to fly at 3,000 feet hit 3,300 foot Mt. Otay at the 3,100 foot level, killing everyone aboard.
