Description: Antique wooden shipping crate from the Safety Box Toe Co. out of Boston, Massachusetts. This crate has been opened from the bottom, so it still has the original lid and makes for a great display. You can see the box had been sent to an Endicott Johnson factory, as the shipping stamp on the lid says "Endicott Johnson" and I also have a couple of other crates in my personal collection, different than this one, with the same stamp on them. I'm guessing that Endicott Johnson had ordered some parts from this company to use in assembling their shoes in their factory. Can provide exact dimensions if desired, just ask!
