This extremely rare and historically significant sign may be the only one left from this important period in the United States banking industry! This sign was displayed in a bank proudly announcing that it was a "Member" of the newly created United States Federal Reserve System. The Federal Reserve System, based on twelve Regional Federal Reserve Banks, became active on November 16th , 1914. Condition and dimensions shown in photos. Last few photos show some minor imperfections to a corner. Displays well and is guaranteed old/original. Local pickup is encouraged, but I will ship if absolutely necessary.
