The editor is Mrs. Frank Leslie. The heavy gauge pages show age discoloration and damage. The faded hard cover has three children play acting grown-ups. There is considerable edge wear on the cover and a large tear on the back inside cover. There are loose, missing, and damaged pages. This 127 year-old anthology is very interesting from the period and is in poor but generally intact condition.
