Description: This rare antique Celluloid and Velvet jewelry box is lined with pink silk. The celluloid is printed with a young girl holding flowers and an embossed edge with a scroll design. The box is accented with a leaf patterned velvet on the sides and edges of the top and printed paper on the sides of the box. The box is in excellent condition with a mirror inside the lid. (There is a small tear in the silk lining under the mirror: see picture.) The brass clasp is intact. The celluloid is not cracked or split and the velvet is not worn. Just beautiful. 6 1/2" x 9 1/2".
