Description: RARE Antique Homer Laughlin Hotel Ware Pitcher Hall Boy Jug 6" Tall - Blue with Gold Stripes Rare piece to find! Beautiful Homer Laughlin Hotel Ware white jug / pitcher with blue stripe and gold accent stripes and rim 6" diameter at widest point across with handle and 6" high. Hotel ware was in the original 1914 catalog and this piece is under the name of Hall Boy Jug. A great stoneware antique and early Homer Laughlin Piece! Hotel ware was made by Homer Laughlin as early as 1913 and was a sharp contrast to the more ornate shapes of The Angelus and Hudson. Most Hotel Ware is marked with a generic HLC backstamp and date code. Condition: Very good preowned antique condition. No cracks and little to no crazing. Displays beautifully. Some light age staining, wear to the gold accents and a ding on the bottom rim backside (see pictures). A factory flaw on the inside of the pouring spout, does not distract, noted for accuracy.
