RARE ANTIQUE DOULTON FLOW BLUE CHRISTMAS TURKEY HUGE PLATTER & 12 PLATES N.MINT

Description: This is a Rare & Fantastic Estate Fresh Flow Blue Holiday Dinner Service made by Doulton, Burslem of England ca 1891 - 1902. This fantastic set is certainly a stunning set on a table or displayed in a china. Its pretty rare, especally with the huge 22.25" X 18" Platter along with a dozen 10.5" Dinner Plates. This flow blue plate design depicts two resting turkeys with branches, leaves with Holly and Berries adorn the border. The deep blue rim is gently scalloped with a rope type edge and highlighted with gold trim . The stunning matching Platter is masterfully decorated with a huge Tom Turkey on full display with the same branches, leaves with Holly and Berries. I have had some great platters over the years but none as big as this 22.25" x 18" beast and the decoration on this set is just the best most fittingly festive decor of almost any set out there. And the condition of these is fantastic. No chips nicks dings or cracks to any of the pieces, complete description is above. Its just one of the best sets available and if you want to have that fantastic Holiday Table in the years to come, you wont find many better than this one especally if you love Flow Blue transferware. Last year just as I found this set, there were 2 available on line, big platter and 12 plates, close to same condition. One was priced and 4500.00 and the other was at $5000.00. Again, its Rare, its Fantastic, its Flow Blue - deep Cobalt Flow Blue, and its in Pristine condition. It was not cheap to me either but this set is so worth it. You wont ever see one in somebody else home this fine!
