Description: This is an antique deep dish pottery bowl by the D.E. McNicol company of Liverpool Ohio USA. The dish is stamped on the bottom. I cannot find anything about this bizarre graphic that is on this bowl. These bowls were considered to be child's - kids bowls, and a lot still exist, but this graphic is of two young boys taking a smoke as a wiener dog pulls sausages out of the smoking boys basket. I am not quite sure why this would be a graphic in a fancy eating bowl such as this one....and especially it being a child's eating bowl. The bowl is in very nice condition for being over 100 years old. There are no chips or cracks, minimal crazing and only in a few spots. The gold metallic trim paint is in very nice condition with minimal fading. There is only one small fleabite under the exterior rim (shown in photo). There are two small manufacturing bubbles in the glaze under the interior graphic..they are slightly stained (shown in photo). Graphic has some slight wear. Some slight discoloration in spots on the white glaze. 7 1/2 inch diameter and it stands 2 inches high Please ask any questions. Thank you
