Description: Nice unusual and hard to find piece. I had it looked over by an antique appraiser and she had one similar a few years ago and she sold it for $399.00. She has not seen one of these since. She said this was used as a display case at trade shows, etc.. She says that this piece was most likely made in England and made it's way to NY. The company whose name is on the front most likely used it to display a product their company made. So many things that could be done with this piece, especially if you like that farmhouse decor. There's a hook on the front that locks the case. When the piece opens, the front and 2 sides opens flat. Piece is very solid and there are no loose joints. Perfect piece for collectors.
