Description: Rare Antique Chinese 2 Tier Brass Side Tray Table With Wood Dragon Folding Stand. Very cool piece. Both brass trays are original to the stand. Overall in fair condition with wear, some damage, and some repairs from use and age. Trays have have tarnishing and patina. Wood stand has damage to one of the dragons on top which a chunk is missing. Looks like someone once glued the missing piece back on, but it has gone missing. There is a repair at another dragon which a bracket was added for support. There is a missing support block under the lower tray, which causes the lower tray to not sit properly and wobbly. Top tray is wobbly as well, but can be positioned to lessen the wobble. There is also some other areas of wear and tear, and possible repairs, which should be expected for a table this old. Not sure exactly when this table was made, but it is either late 19th century or early 20th century. Table legs measure roughly 23 1/2” tall, tray measures roughly 22 3/4” off floor. Large brass tray measures 14” across, smaller tray measures 10”. Table is in usable condition as is, but if the buyer is planning on using it as more then just decorative purposes, they may want to address some of the balancing issues with some padding and/or blocking.
