Very old and has an attractive gold and black geometric diamond pattern.. indicative of the art deco time frame!! Also has a very cool antique fiberglass shade! Marking on lamp: BERGER PAT'D No battery included.. I have no idea if you can get a battery for this any more! The battery compartment area (base) measures approximately 5" in length, 2.75" in width, & 4.25" in height. ... assume it is non-working..
