The company was founded in 1915. Ansul’s initial activities included production of cattle feed, refrigerants and selected specialty chemicals. The name Ansul comes from ANhydrous SULfur dioxide (SO2), In 1934 they began producing fire suppression chemicals and became the leader in the production of fire extinguishers. The other products they produced were soon sold off. While this can isn’t minty it is rare. I have only found one other example of it. It is missing the top, there are some scratches and some spots I feel would possibly clean up.
