Description: United States Penitentary Alcatraz (1934 - 1963) - Prisoner/Inmate Poster produced by Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, 2005 Poster features 16 criminals incarcerated at the infamous Alcatraz Penitentary. Subject matter is very sad and disturbing - I randomly looked up 2 inmates, their lives before and during their jail time. There is no 'after jail' because both were murdered in Alcatraz. That was enough research for me... Poster is new and measures 19 1/2" wide X 25" long. I unrolled it to photograph and noticed damage/crease-wear from storage (see pics).
