Description: PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY AND IN ITS ENTIRETY! It is important. (I get paid by the word. Don't I wish!) This is a Buy It Now listing for one factory sealed 1997 Mickey Mantle Shoe Box. THIS IS ONE OF THE LOWEST PRINT RUNS FOR ANY LICENSED BASEBALL PRODUCT OF THE LAST 60 YEARS. There are very few listings for this, but I have seen prices recently as high as $499 plus. And that is a fair price, too, considering how rare this factory sealed box is. I have yet to see someone selling the complete 75 card set! (You cannot make a set out of a single box, because a box contains only 102 cards and you will get some duplicates, of course.) This is factory sealed and in near pristine condition. (The back is a bit bowed in, but that will not affect the condition of the packs.) Twenty seven years ago, I sold four boxes of this for $198 each--and that was in 1997! This is my next to last box of the 16 pack version of this super rare Mantle product. I also have a sealed box of the seven pack version, which I will list soon. This one is the better value, I believe, because you have a far greater chance of getting one of the super rare inserts, This is a Buy It Now listing.
