Rare 1995 Fox Kids Network Casper The Friendly Ghost Series Promo Art Print

Description: Up for auction is a very rare and cool promotional item from the 1990's Spooktacular New Adventures Of Casper animated series. In 1995, Fox Kids Network marketing had 14 artists pick a famous painting and reproduce it using one of the characters from their current shows as the subject(s). This one was based on Vincent Van Gogh's original masterpiece which was reworked using characters from the show and reproduced to only 500 numbered copies. As you see this is not numbered and was an artist proof.Each of the 500 recipients was sent the 14 prints and one, very cool frame (Last pic) that shows all the popular characters for that season. The frame is not wood but plastic and painted to look gilded. It was made to open in the back to insert each of the included 14 prints. Only 500 were made and it is hands-down the coolest cartoon-inspired frame ever created.THE FRAME IS NOT INCLUDED and only intended to show as a reference. The print is approximately 13" by 16.25" inches and in It is in Very Fine/Near Mint +condition.
