Super-rare 1985 Pebble Beach Concours folio of Lucinda Lewis photos of the six Bugatti Type 41 Royales, which were featured at the 1985 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Ettore Bugatti produced only six Bugatti Type 41 Royales from 1926 to 1933. They are among the world's most prized cars—highly regarded expression of style and luxury. All six were gathered together for the first time in 1985 at Pebble Beach. Only 500 of these folios were produced for sale to support the Pebble Beach Foundation and The United Way of the Monterey Peninsula. This one is numbered 237/500 on the right-hand flap of the folder. It includes two information sheets about the Bugattis, including a bit of history and descriptions of each car. Six 7"x10" (18cm x 25cm) photos of the cars on the Pebble Beach fairway behind the Lodge are included, sleeved in two translucent sleeves printed tone-on-tone in the same stylized lettering used on the front of the folder. Photographs are in excellent condition, and while the folder shows signs of handling and age, it presents well. The outer envelope also shows handling and age, and is bent along one whole edge, but is intact. See photos for detail. Folio measures approximately 14 1/2" x 12" (47cm x 31cm).
