Description: WORKING DESCRIPTION:This game is working 100%. The monitor is rebuilt (by me) and it is the original ultra-reliable Wells Gardner 19k4900 series 19" monitor. It has a phenomenal picture-bright, sharp, colorful. You won't find a nicer picture, and it should be reliable now that it's rebuilt. The marquee is perfect and lights up with a new fluorescent bulb and new starter behind it. The control panel is in excellent condition and has some new buttons, and all controls work. The game plays just great and it's a fun game. This is a very rare game, especially in the dedicated cabinet. It was originally programmed by Nasco, and then licensed to Sega, and further licensed to Kitco in the USA and Atari in Europe (from what I understand). It was primarily a kit game, but this is a super rare dedicated example! Still has the sideart on both sides in very nice condition. This is another game that I was really unfamiliar with and had never played before this week. It's actually a fun game to play. I have to admit that I really like golf games. Especially these old-school ones. Nintendo Vs. Golf was a blast and I played that one a ton. This is similar in game play to that, but seems to have much more depth. It's a pretty challenging game, but that is good. Easy games don't stay interesting very long. Challenging ones do. I should mention that this game is running on all original hardware. This is the only dedicated Crown's golf I've seen, and I've seen thousands of games. I really think it is a rare game these days, and with the popularity of golf and golf games these days, it would be a really nice addition to any classic arcade or arcade museum looking for a rarity. CONDITION and RATINGS for THIS SPECIFIC MACHINE: This game is in excellent condition. The cabinet is nice and solid and doesn't seem to have any major damage or flaws. The blue paint isn't easy to get super clean. I scrubbed it, but it could probably use more scrubbing if you want to put the elbow grease into it. I got it looking good enough for me. I replaced the T-molding with new dark blue just like what was in it. Only game I've seen that used dark blue t-molding. The marquee is perfect, and it's one of those silkscreened marquees with a 90 degree angle on it, like used in early stern games like Rescue, Bagman, Tutankham, etc. It is in perfect shape and lights up with a new bulb and starter. The control panel artwork is in great condition. The bezel is very good, but does have one spot where the paint is scraped off. It is a silkscreened glass - top quality. The coin doors are in excellent condition. They have new locks, an original coin box, and 2 working quarter mechs. Also two new LED lamps to light the coin slots. Also has the original back door, which is somewhat unusual. If you need any more pictures or have any questions, please let me know - I'm happy to answer. Numeric Ratings:MARQUEE: 10/10BEZEL: 8/10CONTROL PANEL: 8/10COIN DOOR: 9.5/10CABINET: 8.5/10 NOTE:Unlike some other sellers on eBay, the game I am selling is the actual game pictured and described above. Somehow, other sellers seem to think a single stock photo from google and a generic description like "great condition, but may have some scratches and blemishes" is good enough. They have some beat up junker in the warehouse and don't even get it ready to sell until it sells. Not here at VintageVideogames.Arcadia. We don't list the game until it is completely through the restoration/refurbishment and is ready to ship out. And we take pictures of the exact game that we are selling. We want you to know exactly what you are buying. LOCATION:This game is located in sunny, beautiful downtown McLean, IL 61754. That's right...in the heart of Classic Arcade World where Arcadia: America's Playable Arcade Museum, Pinball Paradise, and Hotel Arcadia are located! I suggest buying this game and then making its pickup a fun family road trip! We have over 140 playable games and luxurious arcade-themed lodging options. Contact me for more details or look for hotel Arcadia on airbnb. SHIPPING:Included in the price is FREE WHITE GLOVE SHIPPING from North American Van Lines. They will bring it right inside your house (ground floor only). This is for the 48 contiguous United States only. If you want this shipped internationally, it will cost extra and we will have to discuss it and get a shipping quote before you pull the trigger. Regarding shipping time, North American Van Lines only picks up from my location once a week. So shipping will probably take between 7 and 14 days depending on where you are in the country. In some rare cases possibly longer. For what it's worth, I have been collecting (hoarding) games for over 30 years and selling them on eBay since about 1997. I have probably shipped two thousand games (many but not all on eBay), from individual games to full containers. You won't find a more reputable seller...check my feedback. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a money-back guarantee on this just because a lot can happen in shipping. What I CAN guarantee is that if you pick the game up, or if not when the game leaves my hands, it will be exactly as described and photoed above. And in 30 years of selling, I have never left anyone in the lurch or ripped anyone off. I'm a fair, honest guy...ask anyone.
