Description: This rare, well-preserved 1963 Christmas catalog is from the Portland, Oregon-based Meier & Frank chain of department stores. It measures 12” by 9” and is in very good condition throughout; only a couple of minor folds noted on corners of the front cover, and minor wrinkles here and there, but otherwise there are very few significant signs of wear. It has a beautiful illustrated cover, and a variety of illustrations and photos throughout the 63 pages — which span everything from men’s and women’s fashions to housewares, toys, electronics, jewelry and more. All in all, it makes for quite a snapshot into early 1960s trends and technologies and provides an intriguing look back at vintage advertising. The catalog even still includes the original order form and reply envelope inside. Please look closely at all photos to best judge condition for yourself.
