Op Space Litho Tin Toy in Box Japan Description:Up for sale a very nice vintage ‘U.S.A.F Apollo X-5’ battery operated space toy.Made of litho tin with bubble dome at front with pilot inside and battery operated with non-fall go action. Made in Japan by Masudaya & Cia., circa 1960. Dimensions:9-¼ inches (23.5 cm) Length.Condition: Original toy with minor markings and scratches here and there. The battery case is very clean. Small hairline crack on the dome (see picture). The tin astronaut who operates on top of the spaceship is missing. The original box is written on with a blue pen on the front and has its corners taped with adhesive tape. Otherwise, very fine to excellent overall condition and perfect working order.
