Description: #5932 Tangerine Blenko 4 Sides Indent Donut Decanter design by Wayne Husted 1959-1960 This is a rather uncommon Blenko decanter not easily obtained and not many have come up for auction/sale in the last 10 years according to Worthpoint This decanter # 5932 and can be found in Blenko's 1959 & 1960 CataloguesNOT to be confused with #5931, this decanter has 4 sides and is a soft square shape with indents (donuts) on all 4 sides to match the stopperthis is a rather heavy decanter,weighs just under 4 pounds ( 3 lbs 14 oz)sizeable as well, 5.75" at the widest and 14.5" tallthe circumference is 21" at widest The bottom has the BLENKO mark and we see the pontil markFor those of you who have not had the pleasure to see this tangerine color live, it is really beautiful. Vibrant orange fades into yellow, like a sunset. It's in very good vintage condition overall with some normal signs of wear and age. There are some light scratches on the base as well as a almost circular ring stain on the inside which I have not attempted to clean. Bubbles in the glass are inherent in glass blowing and can be found in the decanter.Stopper is in good vintage condition as well with light scratches and a clear spot in the ground glass BLENKO GLASS CO.
