I do not use stock photos or photos of other people’s items.This is a very rare early Service Pin for Burdine's Department Store, founded in Bartow in 1898 and relocated to Miami with five stores in South Florida by the 1930s, many more by the 1980s throughout Florida, ultimately swallowed up by Macy*s and eliminated as a respected independent brand in the 2000s. This is one of three service pins I am listing, each with the script Burdine's logo used in the late 1920s and 30s. Attached are photos of the early 1910s Burdine's sky scraper (Miami's tallest building for a couple of years), The "Boulevard" Shop opened on Biscayne Boulevard in 1929 and an Advertisement from the Miami News May 25, 1928 using the script logo. A more modern blockier Burdine's logo would be adopted later. THIS 1/2" pendant/charm was converted from a pin with an added loop. It is for 10 years in red and white enamel with a "vDog"? maker's mark. It is in very nice condition. It is likely gold, untested.Get this item with FREE SHIPPING with tracking in the USA.
