Description: To make this a smooth and pleasant transaction experience for everyone, all buyers need to read and understand the Description, Terms of Sale, Payment, and Shipping, below. This glorious bracelet epitomizes the Art Deco period in jewelry, especially that which was manufactured by the highly-esteemed Theodor Fahrner firm of Pforheim, Germany. “In the two great epochs of style, Art Nouveau and Art Deco, Theodor Fahrner of Pforzheim was one of the most innovative and interesting jewelry producers in Europe. As one of the first jewelry manufacturers in Germany, Theodor Fahrner, Jr. joined the stylistic reform movement at the end of the 19th Century…” There is a complementary pin shown in the book Theodor Fahrner Jewelry between Avant-garde and Tradition, page 213, plate 2.118, dating from 1928, so this bracelet is also probably from 1928. Exquisite design elements are present in a striking color combination. The rectangular panel links are enameled in black and white rectangles along the top and bottom of edges. The gilded silver is soldered with corded wire in circles and around the black and white matte enamel rectangles. Each long rectangular panel is bezel-set with two coral cabochons. The coral stones look like Sardinian coral from the Mediterranean off of Italy. The color of this coral is not as bright as some of the photos show. The natural, undyed coral is close to the color of cayenne. Dark orangish red coral is the true "oxblood" red. (Fire engine red is modern and from China.) Each short rectangle panel, which alternates with the long panels, are prong-set with rectangular genuine black onyx stones. Between the colors and the geometric shapes, the classic Deco design is created. The bracelet closes with a tongue-and-box clasp. There is a safety latch for added security. The back of the box clasp is stamped “TF” inside a circle and “935,” which is better than standard sterling (925). Condition: Excellent, clasp and safety work well, nothing to note, the bracelet has obviously been well-cared for 95 years Approximate measurements: 7 1/2" wearable length (not including tongue), 15/16" wide Shipping includes insurance and Signature Confirmation. ****************************************Payment:Payment expected within two days of purchase.Shipping:Please be sure your shipping address on file with eBay is correct.
