Description: This rare 1920s English “Army & Navy" litho hinged pocket cigarette tin with ten cigarettes and mouth pieces, measuring 3” x 3 1/4” x 3/8" is in good condition with no rust, one tiny crease on the lid back edge and some very minor age related paint scratches and chips. Much of the original high gloss finish remains. This highly attractive Art Nouveau multicolored tin features a detailed image of an Egyptian woman with the Pyramids in the background. The cigarettes were manufactured by the Army & Navy Cooperative, London, England.
