Description: This rare 1920s “Edgeworth Junior" litho hinged 1 3/4 ounce pocket tobacco tin, measuring 4 3/8” x 3” x 7/8”, is in good condition with no rust, a small crease on the top edge and some minor age related paint scratches and chips. There is striker on the bottom. There are two pieces of tax stamp. This very attractive navy and sky blue and silver tin features an emblem composed of a pipe and two cigarettes crossed over each other. The tobacco was manufactured by Larus and Brothers Company, Richmond, VA in Factory 45, District of VA. Edgeworth Junior tobacco was introduced in 1903 and quickly became a best selling brand.
