Description: Rare 1889 Delft Blue Holland Sailor Boy on a Shoe Shaped Planter + 1 Windmill Tile and Train Conductor/Engineer Man Planter. These two planters and a tile are all in great condition with no damage. The planter that looks like a train conductor or engineer man has crazing throughout and is unmarked. I estimate him to be mid 20th century. The sailor boy on the shoe planter is marked Delft and 1889 underneath the shoe. He is in excellent condition. I can't really tell if he is a boy or a girl. If it were a girl, she would be wearing a dress and bonnet, so I think it's a boy in knickers and a sailor's tie and rain hat. The tile says MS Westerdam 1995 and was made in England by H&R Johnson Tiles Ltd. Each piece is measured, so to see their exact sizes, refer to the photos.See photos for a better description of condition and for dimensions. Shipped via your choice of USPS Ground or Priority Mail.
