Description: Offered here is a rare and much sought-after engraved portrait of George Washington by the accomplished American engraver, William E. Marshall after a painted portrait by Gilbert Stuart. Marshall also made similar portraits of Lincoln and Grant. This print was issued in 1862 as a subscriber's print for The Christian Union. The dimensions of the print are: height 13 1/4 inches (image) 17 inches (sheet); width 11 1/4 inches (images) 14 3/4 inches (sheet). This print is from my personal collection which I am beginning to sell off. Please read the condition description carefully and review the photographs.
