This is a weekly syndicated show that aired in the United States on public broadcasting through the WMFT fine arts radio station and sydicator in Chicago but which is distributed throughout the world on the Radio Netherlands Worldwide network. This is truly a global show enjoyed throughout the world by lovers of pure contemporary jazz There are announcers who lead you through the performances in an entertaining manner. Jazz lover or not, you will love this amazing hour of music. I have a limited number of them and will be listing them for you until they are gone. Now, here is more about the EUROPEAN JAZZ STAGE. This series is for those of you that love music that includes all the best jazz music performed all over the world, most from live performances. It is on one CD containing a full hour of jazz music and divided into tracks. Generally there are two tracks on each show each containing approximately 30 minutes of music. There is a break after the first track for a station id and two promo tracks at the end of the show for stations to play during the week prior to the airing of the show during their station breaks to promote it The show is hosted by Daniel Frankl. The CD's are extremely attractive. Depending on the year, some come in a beautiful album plastic folder much as you would buy in the store. Others come with the WMFT logo, show feature and program number on an attractive CD with its cue sheet. The show specialized in the best jazz music that exists. AND IT IS LIVE from some of the biggest jazz festivals in Europe. Other shows have themes that are followed through the hour show. From week to week you would hear the best of world jazz artists performing in concert all over the world. It is an extremely rare show that you will never see on eBay and that is what makes it not only enjoyable but worth getting for your collection. It is one of the special shows I have kept in my personal collection and cherished. Now it can be yours. These are genuine collector's items that you will treasure and which will increase in value as these shows, especially the quality shows, disappear from the market place or become too expensive to afford. Since radio shows are no longer distributed to stations on CD, these too will soon vanish. As long as I have them, I will sell them for as reasonable a price as I can. Again, the show comes on 1 CD , one hour, silver backed for high fidelity, and in pristine condition and with their cue sheets and album cover (if pictured), front and back, in excellent condition. These wonderful shows were likely only played on the day they aired and then were stored away by enterprising dj's who either wanted to keep them for their collection or knew that they were going to be worth some big bucks later on down the road. While I have gotten a few shows here and there over the years from other sources, the bulk of my shows come from one person. Believe me, they are in super fine shape. This show is #04-06 and aired NOVEMBER 5, 2004 THE THEME OF THIS SHOW WAS A "JAPANESE JAZZ JAM" SHOW CONTENTS CAN BE SEEN ON THE PICTURED CUE SHEETS REMEMBER, This is the genuine original show that was sent to the radio station for airing. It is NOT an unauthorized copy but the Real McCoy!!! I personally guarantee that every radio show that I sell is the original show sent to stations. Each show comes from my personal collection of OVER ten thousand radio shows of every genre. Stations could use the show anytime during that weekend but since the program could never be aired again, most just threw them away. Most radio stations have serious space limitations and storing every show becomes a burden. Believe me, I know; I work at one! You are truly buying a show that will only increase in value and I am selling them at a price very close to what I paid for it. There are no commercials in this show. The show goes from one track to another of great jazz music and commentary from the hosts. Remember that this and all the radio music shows that you see on eBay are not just about the music - the music can be found anywhere.
