Description: This is an R. John Wright Nighttime Winnie-the-Pooh 12-inch fully jointed, mohair plush bear with glass eyes. From 1998-1999. Limited edition of 2500 pieces and this is Pooh No. 1048/2500. Based on the illustrations in original E.H. Shepard The House at Pooh Corner book written by A.A.Milne. Published in 1928. This Pooh has Never Been Removed from Box. He wears a cotton nightshirt, nightcap and felt and leather slippers. Included is a hand-crafted tin candlestick with candle snuffer and a felt pouch with beeswax candles. COA is included as shown in photos. Put away as soon as I got him in 1999, this Pooh was a gift from my late husband who died in 2010. Never exposed to smoke. perfume, scent of any kind. I owned a bear shop for 23 years so I always took great care of my shop animals and my own collection. I love R. John Wright so I have kept his pieces safe and sound away from everything as I do with anything in my collection. It is just time for Nighttime Pooh to find a home where he is loved and displayed.
