Description: This pattern is for two shawls/scarfs, Pine a triangular shawl, and Fir a rectangular shawl. This pattern is new old stock, carefully stored and never used. It comes in a plastic sheet protector and is seven pages long printed on cardstock with color pictures of the shawls. These patterns are considered intermediate skill level. Pine is worked from the top down to the cast off edge, beginning with a single stitch cast on. Measurements are 45 x 21", but can be enlarged by adding pattern repeats. Fir is worked from the bottom up by knitting five individual triangles which are then joined to work the main part of the scarf. The scarf is worked in two pieces and joined at the center back with a three needle bind-off or grafted. Measurements 56 x 8.5", but could also be enlarged both in width and length by adding pattern repeats. Recommended yarn is Zephyr Laceweight Wool-Silk yarn, requiring about 2oz for each shawl in the basic size. 3.5mm (US 4) needles. If you order more than one item, please use the shopping cart.
