Description: This coin sword appears to be a vintage Chinese Qing Dynasty coin sword based on limited comparisons with similar coin swords for sale on Ebay. Found at an estate. It seems to be old based on the degree of wear exhibited on the coins as well as the handle and thread holding it together. I have no knowledge or expertise of Chinese coin swords so there is no guarantee that this assessment is accurate. The sword measures 22 inches long, has a maximum width of 4 inches and is .025 in. thick. The coin ball measures about 1.75 in. in diameter. There are approximately 60 coins +- that I could count.
