Dedicated “Uni-Jaw” sets are the most rubust QC-Mate Clamp tooling available. By keeping the clamping forces at the base of the clamp they create the most force and least amount of clamp deflection. "Duo-Jaw" sets provide “flexibility” in that they combine Two NPT fitting sizes per Jaw and potentially fewer tooling change-overs. However, since the "larger diameter" is at the top of the jaw, they are recommended for “lower pressure” applications.
