Description: This is a huge vintage heavy walled glass carboy from Pyrex, 5 gallon/19L. These are usually used to store large amounts of acidic/basic solutions or for storing/ autoclaving large media volumes, but these are also popular primary fermentation vessels for home brewing purposes. This was salvaged from a retiring lab and seems to have been well taken care of. There are no chips or cracks, and the minor cosmetic scratches / labeling won't affect the function. There's some dust to wash out, but nothing serious. Overall, this seems like an awesome heavy duty carboy in great condition and I think it deserves to return to service.
