Description: PY Miyao anthropomorphic pink flower girl wall pocket planters made in Japan circa 1955. This is hand painted with a glossy finish. It is stamped with the Miyao wreath with Mount Fuji and the words “Made in Japan”. It has no cracks or crazing I can find, but it has a chip on the bottom right corner, one chipped petal, and a scruffed place on the front side at the bottom. This wall pocket has a little dirt at the bottom inside. Please look at the photos on a computer to see details up close. I do my best to describe each item presented. Vintage and sold “as is”. I have two more flower planters that are in the last picture. On a historic note, both pieces were manufactured and hand painted at the PY Miyao factory in Japan after World War II. These specific pieces were ordered to be sold in Woolworths department stores. Many pieces have also been made by PY Miyao for Norcrest, Enesco, UCAGCO, Napco, and other distributors. These items will be shipped USPS Priority Mail with tracking and insurance. I do combine shipping. Just message me and let me know if you’re buying other items. If you have any questions or need more photos, please let me know. I appreciate you looking at my items.
