This kit is specifically designed for Bendix AD-IP™ & AD-IS™ air dryers. It is crafted durably to perform reliably even above -40°C (-40°F) temperature. It is a replacement part for OEM K022105, featuring a durable hard seat sealing surface, to make your truck’s air pressure system function efficiently. Enhanced Durability: This purge valve is based on a hard seat design that ensures a more robust and long-lasting sealing surface that reduces the need for frequent replacements and hard-core maintenance. Easy to Install: Our K022105 purge valve kit includes all necessary components and is designed specifically for easier and hassle-free installation. Its top-notch design reduces downtime and ensures the air dryer system returns to optimal performance. Versatile Solution: This purge valve assembly kit is suitable for various truck makes and models and best fits Bendix AD-IP™ & AD-IS™ Air Dryers. Its versatility ensures that it can be used across different trucks to manage and maintain their air braking system. Installation & Maintenance Guide Installation: First you should check out your truck service manual instructions, ensuring the complete air pressure is released from the air dryer to prevent potential injuries. After the depressurization, disconnect the electrical connector and air line from the existing purge valve and unscrew the mounting bolts holding the existing purge valve in place. Avatar the older one is removed, now you can position the new Mytee Products’ 12 Volt purge valve kit in place ensuring its proper alignment. Secure the unit with mounting bolts and tighten them to the specified interval, don’t try to tighten it extra. Reconnect the air line and electrical connector just by following the same configuration as the previous unit was installed. Finally start the engine and check the proper operation of the air dryer system, you have to listen for any usual noise or check for any sort of potential leaks. Maintenance The purge valve and heater/thermostat within the purge valve kit must be inspected periodically to detect signs of wear and tear, malfunction, or any potential damage. Just consult your truck’s service manual for the same. Since, the heater/thermostat is crucial for preventing freezing and maintaining optimal operating temperature even in the harshest environmental conditions it must be checked and maintained frequently. There is no specific schedule for the housing so you can perform a visual inspection during replacements or perform system checks to ensure that it is free from cracks, or other damages which can affect internal components. Note: Before servicing the air dryer system, ensure all air pressure is released to prevent injuries 18 MONTHS WARRANTY: This product is covered for one year or completion of 100,000 miles since installation or 18 months after you buy it from Mytee Products, whichever comes first. We provide a warranty to all new products only if the parts have defective material or workmanship (must be used in appropriate applications). The warranty doesn’t cover the parts that fail or get damaged due to misuse, misapplication, or accident. Unless specified otherwise, buyers/consumers need permission from your salesperson to initiate a return under warranty. We will replace any part free of charge only if our team finds a defect after a thorough examination. The warranty only covers only the replacement of defective parts (under the mentioned conditions), we disclaim liability for labor and/or special or consequential damages of any nature. If the buyer/consumer decides to return the parts under this warranty then the buyer must agree to wait for us to settle the claim before deducting any amount from your payment to Mytee Products.
