Description: Kreiss Santa's Helper Christmas Figurine 1960's Vintage Psycho Ceramics Dressed to impress? Approx. 7" Droopy Santa from Psycho Ceramics. He has blue jewel eyes, and a green bag. This sad sack holiday guy is from the '60s and made in Japan. There is an imbedded small metal hook behind his hip on one side, shown in the second to last photo. No idea what the purpose might be.He is usually found with a red holiday suit on when in this figurine. I added a final picture at the end that shows a similar one for reference. Note: This one has no red! Condition: Preowned. He is in really strange condition. His black boots, belt, pink cheeks, green bag and brownish gold eyelids have paint. The rest of his body was obviously painted red at some point, as there are minimal flecks of red paint left, and that is what all others from this time period have on them. However, all the red is gone. I don't know how you remove just one paint color like that, unless someone with a nervous habit picked at it! There is an L shaped cracked area on the rim of his hat. It looks like a pressure point where something hit it, and it didn't crack off, and just damaged the surface. Shown in the 2nd to last picture. There is some of the paint missing from his eyelids as shown, too.In spite of these deficiencies, he is a nice piece to add to any Kreiss collection! Thank you for shopping! Always happy to answer any questions. Cheers! Go green, re-use & recycle. Buy used ... we do!
