A PSA graded GOOD 2 – 1951 Bowman rookie card of Hall of Famer Ed "Whitey" Ford of the New York Yankees. This example has bold printing, excellent color, good centering, nice focus and fairly clean borders. The corners are consistent with those found on most VG+/VGEX examples, with the exception of a light ding on the lower left corner that results in a diagonal crease (approx. 1/4" long) near that corner that does not break the paper, but is visible on both sides. There is a heavy crease that extends from the left edge to the right edge just below the player's eyes that does break the paper on the front. Aside from that crease and the much smaller one near the lower left corner, the card appears to be free of any additional creasing. There is some light toning on the borders on the front in a few places, but it does not detract too much from the overall eye appeal of the card. The back is clean with bold printing. The card would definitely look better if the creasing was across the jersey instead of the player's face, but it is still a fairly nice looking lower grade example of a very popular and condition-sensitive card.
