He was handmade, and carved over 2 years, 1978 and 1979, in Gig Harbor, Washington, By ventriloquist Richard Meyers. Richard and Nick, at one time, were doing shows all around the country, and Richard had Nick insured in 1980, for 10,000 Dollars, as this was Richards's passion and Livelihood. Nick is a Mastercraft, Professional Ventriloquist Figure, and Was Indeed, Richard's Alter Ego. Nick's Mouth is Slot Jaw , Eyes Move Side to Side and Has All Around All Direction! Eyelids Work Independently He Winks With One or Both Eyes! Eyebrows Also Raise and Lower. His Right Leg Has a Kicker. Has a "Hook" on the left Arm For Easy Hand Movement. And He Looks Great, With or Without His Hat. Nick Comes With -2- Costume Changes. Nick is NOT very heavy, although his Head, Body, and Hands ARE solid wood. ALL Original! He has Eyebrows Move Up and Down, Eyes Open Close/Blink (Leather), Right Eye is Independent and Centering. Fully Clothed, He is in Perfect Condition. A really Happy Fellow. Ready to perform for you. This is an upgraded version. He stands Aprox 42″ tall and has 360-degree head rotation with a ball and socket neck. His headstick is wood. His body is also wooden. This are a must for any collector of ventriloquist figures.
