Austin & Sons, Chronicle Office, Clifton (England), copyright 1881, Softcover, 8vo (8 1/2" X 5 1/2"). Brown wraps, pages start at 83 and end with 174, plus 40 page, "Flora of the Bristol Coal Field", bound supplement at the end of the book (this had been omitted from Volume II, as explained on the rear wrapper), 3 color plates, mushrooms, from "The fungi of the Bristol District" chapter and one color (single color, just blue) folding map ("War Department Weather Map"). GOOD. Soiled wrappers, chipping at head and tail of spine, some foxing to top edge, cracking between pages 84 & 85 and 96 & 97, pages are mostly bright with just light age-toning at edges, some light creases to fore edge of leaves from handling, completely clean text, no marks of any kind, colors on map and plates remain bright (See photos). 002398-B20 GENERAL POLICY Please see photos for closer details and overall condition.
