Promark came out with these 808 Golden Oak drum sticks around 1978 until the mid to late 1980's. Endorsed by Billy Cobham, by the 1990's the 808 drumsticks were only available in the lacquered dark oak and Texas hickory woods. Two of the three sticks are the same and identicle to the Billy Cobham 808 Golden Oak Drum Sticks. HIS NAME APPEARS ON THE ONE STICK WITH THE GOLDEN PRINT. When purchasing these sticks after a while and at times, his name was not always stamped on every pair of these Drum Sticks. The Pro-Mark 808 Golden Oak Drum Sticks have been out of production for many years and are rare and very hard to come by anymore. They look to be in "new" condition but I have them listed as "USED". They don't seem to have any cymbal or rim marks on the collars. The stick tips are clean with no markings.
