Description: This lovely bell from my daughter’s collection, commemorates the birth of Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s first child, Prince William, heir to the throne. The front of the bell features a picture of the couple surrounded by crowns, cherubs, pink and blue ribbons, and gold garland. Measuring approximately 5 1/2” tall and 3 1/2” in diameter, the maker’s mark inside reads Newhall, English Fine Bone China. The bell is in overall excellent vintage preowned condition with no chips, crazing, missing design or gold trim. It does have a very fine hairline crack that can be seen upon close inspection on the outside and inside (as shown in the photos) but this does not distract visually. A wonderful way to preserve this moment in history by adding to one’s personal collection or a perfect gift for someone watching The Crown, The White Queen, The White Princess, The Spanish Princess, The Tudors or a number of other television shows and movies about the British Monarchy.
