Beloved "Doctor" To Be Heard On Air: Beloved movie doctor of millions since his appearance with the Dionne quintuplets, Jean Hersholt, famous character, will make his first appearance in a regular radio series on Sunday, November 7th from 2:30 to 3:00 P.M., when he appears in the title role of a new dramatic series, "Dr. Christian," over the Columbia broadcasting coast to coast hook up. Mr. Hersholt will return to a role that established him as a star--a country doctor. It will mark a new phase in a career that started in Denmark when he studied painting, took him to America in 1915 as an actor, and brought him to the movies that same year. He has risen steadily since, as an actor, as a director of many Western pictures years ago, and again as an actor in silent and sound pictures. In the silent "Greed," "Don Q," and "Stella Dallas," in the talking "Men In White," and "Grand Hotel" he was a favorite. His air appearance will bring him to the public once again in the popular characterization similar to the one that brought him stardom with the Dionnes in "Country Doctor" and "Reunion."
