Description: The material is some of the best you can buy. It is primarily used for structural components because of the properties, yet can be used for any carbon parts. The material is pure aerospace quality hence the material is produce to XBMS 8-276 rev2 standards. The material is a Plain weave. It has a T800H semi-toughened fiber bundle Vs T300 for most normal carbon. This means the carbon is more then twice as strong. It is 6K in weight. The material is prepregniated with 3900-2D resin which has a normal cure cycle is 350 degrees for 2.5 hours.... very quick reducing processing cost. However, if your tool cannot handle the elevated temp. you can cure at 250 for approx. 6-8 hours. We purchased the material for aerospace parts and this is left over stock. The material is now expired, yet the carbon is perfectly fine and can be for all other parts we just don't have the paperwork anymore. The carbon has always been kept frozen below -10. which means the shelf life is unlimited. Just to be clear... the carbon is perfectly, usable it just does not have the proper paperwork to be used for projects requiring certs. We have about 400 yd left. Depend upon quantity will determine your price. Due to the difficulty in handling frozen material I am only selling in full rolls. One lot or unit equals a 3 foot linear of material.
