Description: You are looking at a rare Heuer watch. This watch predates the merger that eventually led to TAG Heuer. This is the black faced Heuer 980.025 women's 1000 Series professional watch. This watch is a true survivor. I am a watch collector who owns over 500 Tag Heuer watches. I currently have quite a few for sale. It was simply time to clean out the closet. This is a women's size TAG watch with a case size of about 28mm (32mm including crown). The crystal is in perfect condition with no scratches. The back casing is in excellent condition with light scratches on the outer edges from the battery changing tool. The clear factory protective sticker is still attached to the back casing. The bracelet is the black PVD coated stainless steel band. It is in excellent condition with light wear. There are a few wear marks on the band from where it flexes into the connection end links. The clasp and surrounding area is in excellent condition with light marks. The bezel is in excellent condition with fine scratches. The hands and hour markers are in excellent condition. The crystal is a bit foggy. It could use a good cleaning from the inside. This is common with older 1000 Series models. Once that is done, this watch will look phenomenal. This is one of the nicest PVD TAGs I have ever seen. I would rate this true survivor as a solid 9.2 out of 10 in condition. Most models like this are all torn up....but not this one. The watch is all original and will fit up to a smaller 6 inch size wrist. It also has the wet-suit extension so even larger sized wrists can get it on. The bezel turns and clicks in the counter clockwise direction, as it should. This model has a quartz movement and it is 200 meters water resistant. I always recommend having seals tested before wearing in water. Due to the age of this watch I would not recommend wearing in water.
