Description: Here is a lovely Pre-Mattel American Girl Doll Samantha by Pleasant Company--in good played with condition. She is an early 1990s doll with the plumper torso and lovely facial coloring. The lettering Pleasant Company and the copyright sign are stamped on the back of her neck. White neck strings are intact. Tan cloth body is clean. I see no significant marks or stains; however, she was a play doll. Her limbs are slightly squeezable in the way of the early dolls. They could use restringing, as she is wobbly. She does stand independently, but with some difficulty. Long dark brown hair is still soft and curly, slight dryness to the ends but not bad. Soft brown eyelashes frame lovely brown eyes.
