Description: Pre Civil War Massachusetts Militia tin plated iron tall leather hat plate. It holds its original shape and has its original lead solder applied plume holder on the reverse. One of its original lead solder applied iron attachment loops is also present. It measures 4 1/2" tall x 3 3/16" wide. It has a nice grey patina with a few tiny spots of light rust. The pictures are accurate as to its condition. Please look at my other auctions.
