Description: Offered here is a pair of antique embossed greeting cards picturing little girls sprinkling their bouquets of flower petals. The girls are dressed in dropped-waist dresses with lacy trim and matching bonnets and they have been padded underneath to give additional dimension to the picture. The little girl in blue dress is missing her right hand – they are offered “as is” as pictured and described. The backgrounds are pink and each is dated 1908, Germany and wooden frames are carved and painted gray with kraft paper backing and metal hanging loops. I obtained them about twenty-five years ago at a doll estate auction at Theriault’s the Doll Masters Auction in Annapolis and I have treasured and admired them ever since. The carved wood frames measure 7-3/4” x 5-3/4” and there is no glass which would flatten the dimension of the pictures.
