Your house electrical panel must have 2 separate buss bars wired to it in order to obtain 240V. You must plug in each chord into outlets that are wired to separate busses, otherwise it will not work. Please check your electrical panel prior to purchase, some are divided into two columns one for each buss, others alternate busses. It helps if your panel still has the wiring diagram included. The unit is made to order so processing time is longer. Available with 10-30, 10-50, 6-50P type outlets, please specify which one you would like.
