So it was the sincere hope of the authors that this volume provide a ready reference for those seeking a comprehensive survey of problems arising from specific operative procedures, shedding additional light and understanding for surgeons that may be unaware that a particular variety of complication may sometimes be attendant on a certain procedure, or procedures. To provide an overview of the detailed, informative medical information available in this text, we will list first the title of chapter one and its details - Chapter (1) Intracranial Neoplasm [General Discussion of Cranial Surgery: Incisions, Hemorrhage, Brain Swelling, Aseptic Meningitis, Wound Problems, Brain Probing and Ventricular Puncture] . and additional details that cover: Specific Discussion of Cranial Surgery for Neoplasm: Glioma, Glioblastoma Multiforme, Astrocytoma, Medulloblastoma, Ependymoma, Papilloma of Choroid Plexus, Neurinoma, Meningioma, Pituitary Adenoma, Craniopharyngioma, Colloid Cyst of Third Ventricle, Pinealoma, Epidermoid and Dermoid Tumor, Cerebellar Hemangioblastoma, Metastic Tumor, and Optic Nerve Tumor. Please note that, although you are likely paying very high shipping costs to have this item sent to you, I am not charging those costs. In the case of books, I utilize "media mail" to get the box to the third party shipper. "Media mail" is a very SLOW speed mailing process reserved for books and records that are potentially very heavy. If you can not wait for my shipment to reach the third party shipper at a very slow pace, please contact me before purchasing and I can add a faster (and more expensive) alternative to the listing to get the item to the third party shipper. MEDIA MAIL: The USPS allows books, records and other media to be mailed at a cheaper price than typical mail. It tends to be a much slower mailing process than standard mail. In addition, any employee of the USPS can open the package at ANY time for ANY reason to verify that what is inside is what should be inside. In most cases, the item is properly repackaged but, in rare cases, it is not and an item can arrive damaged. As my feedback suggests, I package very carefully. If you receive a damaged item that has the appearance of having been poorly packaged, please contact me prior to leaving feedback so that it can be addressed. Listing and template services provided by inkFrog PLEASE NOTE: For book sales, I virtually always include a vinyl bag tightly wrapped on the exterior. This is an attempt to prevent any USPS employee from opening the package for inspection as it would be time consuming for them to repackage it. This is done simply because my packaging is done more carefully than their repackaging and also to protect the book from the elements. The vinyl bag covers cardboard protection and you can simply cut the bag open (carefully) and remove the contents. The cardboard protection is also typically held with tape and cutting in the obvious places will allow the cardboard to pop right open, exposing the book (in another protective vinyl bag). Using this method, you should be able to open any book I send in under a minute. No "buzz saw" is required. Thank you
