Description: Offers are welcomed. Brother Andre was a lay brother of the Congregation of Holy Cross. Despite not being ordained, Brother André became widely known for his deep faith, humility, and devotion to Saint Joseph, as well as for the many miracles attributed to his intercession. He served mainly as a doorman at the Notre Dame College in Montreal, where his reputation as a healer and a man of prayer spread far and wide. Brother André's dedication eventually led to the construction of Saint Joseph's Oratory on Mount Royal in Montreal, which became a major pilgrimage site. He was canonized as a saint by the Catholic Church in 2010.
